Meditation

Our group and guided meditation sessions are now back in the centre gompa.

Meditation is the gentle re-focusing of attention that allows us to control the never-ending stream of thoughts running through our mind every minute of the day. Bringing the mind under control allows us to see the reality of situations we experience. We can then analyse and reflect meaningfully on thoughts and emotions.  This brings peace and calmness to ourselves and to those around us.

Wednesdays 10 – 11am & 5:45 – 6:30pm

Wednesday meditations follow school term dates.  Term 1: 1st February to 1st April – no classes 7 & 14th April

                                                                                  Term 2: 21st April to 30th June – no classes 7 & 14th July

                                                                                   Term 3: 21st July to 22nd September – no classes 29th Sept & 6th Oct

                                                                                   Term 4: 13th October to 15th December – no classes 22nd Dec to 2nd Feb

Sundays 9 – 10am – Sunday sessions are held every Sunday throughout the year.

Meditation sessions are by donation to help with centre running costs.
