Come along and colour in your favourite Deity or mandala. Or, if you prefer, trace the sutras in gold. A pleasant way to create merit and join friends. We will have afternoon tea.
Do you have angry, obsessive or depressive thoughts that make your mind uncomfortable? Often we would like to change our habitual ways of thinking but dont know how. The Buddha recognised how we create these habits, and evolved techniques for reducing anger, jealousy and attachment, and increasing patience and kindness. Geshe Zopa will explain some practical ways to change habits through reflection and meditation. If you wish to change your mind please come along and listen to this enthusiastic and inspiring teacher.

Geshe Tenzin Zopa will answer questions about karma in this afternoon workshop with afternoon tea. No question is too basic, and those who are not Buddhist are encouraged to come to this session and speak with a highly trained teacher who is also down to earth and fluent in English. Geshe -la loves to chat and answer questions.

Continuing from our Monday nights on 7 point mind training, we will hold a series of meditations designed to grow compassion, loving kindness and the altruistic wish to help all beings have temporal and lasting happiness. These meditations are led by senior students.

You do not have to be a Buddhist to come along, but some Buddhist terms and concepts will be included in the content.
